Strain FAQ
What is the difference between indica, sativa and hybrid strains?

What is the difference between indica, sativa and hybrid strains?
Indica, sativa and hybrid started as words for how the plant grows, not how it feels, and the labels get used loosely today. As a rough guide, indica-leaning strains are usually described as heavier and better suited to an evening, sativa-leaning strains as brighter and more suited to daytime, and hybrids as somewhere in between. Terpene profile and your own tolerance matter more than the category on the tag, so tell a budtender what you want out of it rather than shopping by the word alone.
Does a higher THC percentage mean a better strain?
+
Does a higher THC percentage mean a better strain?
Not on its own. THC percentage tells you potency, not quality or how the strain will feel. A well-grown 20% flower with a rich terpene profile often reads as fuller and more enjoyable than a 30% flower with nothing behind the number. If you are newer to cannabis, a lower THC percentage is usually the easier place to start.
What are terpenes and why do they matter?
+
What are terpenes and why do they matter?
Terpenes are the aromatic compounds that give each strain its smell — citrus, pine, fuel, berry, pepper. They are a big part of why two strains with the same THC number can feel noticeably different from each other. Smelling the jar is a legitimate way to shop; if the aroma appeals to you, the strain usually will too.
Which strain should I pick as a beginner?
+
Which strain should I pick as a beginner?
Start low. A balanced hybrid with a moderate THC range, a low-dose edible, or a mild pre-roll are the usual first steps. Take a small amount, wait, and see where you land before taking more. Tell us at the counter that it is your first time and we will pull something gentle and explain what to expect.

No. Flower rotates constantly based on what our growers harvest and what sells through. This guide covers strains we carry regularly in Colcord and Roland, but the live menu is the only accurate picture of what is in the jar right now. Check the menu before you drive over.
Do I need an Oklahoma medical card to buy these strains?

Yes. Oklahoma is a medical-only state, so you need an active OMMA patient license to purchase. Out-of-state patients need an Oklahoma temporary card in addition to their home-state card. Bring a valid government photo ID along with the card.
