    Maui Wowie Strain

Bright, tropical, and the least heavy sativa in the case.

Maui Wowie is a sativa strain from Hawaiian landrace sativa, typically testing 15–20% THC and <1% CBD. It leans terpinolene and pinene on the terpene side, smells like pineapple and citrus peel with a clean grassy underside, and most patients describe it as clear head, light energy, uplifted mood. It's a daytime strain that people reach for morning, outdoors and walking, patients who dislike couch-lock — ask for it at RedBilly in Colcord or Roland, Oklahoma.

    Lineage
    Hawaiian landrace sativa

Maui Wowie is a Hawaiian landrace sativa and it smokes like one: light, bright, and noticeably less dense in effect than the sativa-leaning hybrids that fill most of the shelf.

The nose is tropical without being sugary. Pineapple and citrus peel lead, and there is a clean grassy note underneath that gives away the landrace background.

Effects come on quickly and stay in the head. Patients describe clarity and a light lift rather than a push, which makes it one of the few jars that works before a full day rather than after one.

Body effects are minimal. That is the main reason we keep recommending it to patients who have tried modern sativas and found them heavier or more jittery than advertised.

Terpinolene sits at the front of the profile, which is uncommon on our shelf and is the main reason the smell reads so differently from the citrus-forward hybrids next to it.

Because THC typically lands in the mid-teens to low twenties, it is easier to dose across a morning than a 28% cross would be.

True Hawaiian-line Maui Wowie is not always available. When it is not, the live menu will show the terpinolene-forward sativas we have in its place.

    Maui Wowie questions we get

Is Maui Wowie good for daytime?

It is one of the better daytime options on our shelf. Effects stay in the head, body weight is minimal, and the onset is quick without a spike.

    How strong is Maui Wowie?

Published ranges typically fall in the 15–20% THC range, moderate by current dispensary standards.

What terpenes are in Maui Wowie?

Terpinolene usually leads, with pinene and limonene behind it. That combination is what gives it the tropical-but-clean profile.

Will Maui Wowie make me couch-locked?

Very unlikely at normal amounts. It is a landrace sativa with minimal body weight, which is why patients use it early in the day.
