New Patient Guide
What to bring, what happens once you're inside, and how to leave with the right thing. Nobody here is going to pressure you. Ask us anything and we'll shoot straight.
Three Easy Steps
Come by Colcord or Roland whenever it suits you. Parking's right out front and somebody will speak to you before the door shuts behind you.
We check your ID and your card at the counter. Oklahoma patients are set. If you're visiting from out of state, you'll need an Oklahoma temporary card on top of your home-state card. More on that below.
Somebody walks the menu with you at whatever pace you want. Strains, formats, potency, price. Nobody's going to hurry you or talk you into the expensive jar.
Come Prepared
Driver's license, state ID, military ID or passport. Whichever one is already in your wallet.
An active Oklahoma OMMA card. Visiting from out of state? You'll need your home-state card and an Oklahoma temporary card both. Apply through OMMA before you head this way.
Credit is still a mess in this business. Bring cash or a debit card and you'll save yourself a headache at the register.
Give yourself ten or fifteen minutes if you want the full walkthrough. If you already know what you're after, you'll be out quicker than that.
Visiting from out of state
Oklahoma honors out-of-state patients through an OMMA temporary card. You'll need it alongside your home-state card to buy at either RedBilly location.
When to apply: two or three weeks before your trip. OMMA usually turns them around in a few business days, but leave yourself room. The temporary card is good for 30 days (or the length of your home-state card, whichever is shorter) and can be renewed.
Know the Menu
Nearly everything most patients want falls into one of these six. No need to study it — just skim.
Dried bud you smoke in a pipe, a joint or a bong. Comes on fast, which means you can take one hit and see where you land.
Already rolled and ready to light. Good first pick if you don't want to mess with a grinder.
A little cartridge of oil that screws onto a battery. Doesn't smell like much and rides easy in a pocket.
Gummies, chocolate, drinks. They take 30 to 90 minutes to show up and then stay for hours. Start at 5 mg and give it the full wait.
Wax, rosin and live resin. Strongest thing we sell and the best tasting. It's built for people who've been at this a while.
Creams you rub right on the sore spot and drops you put under your tongue. Plenty of them won't get you high at all.
Come in a stranger once. After that we'll know your name and what you like.
Tell us it's your first visit and we'll slow down for you. You'll leave with something that actually fits, not whatever happened to be sitting closest to the register.
Common Questions
You do. An active OMMA license is the law here. Oklahoma residents need a standard OMMA patient card. Out-of-state visitors need an Oklahoma temporary card on top of their home-state card. Apply through OMMA online before you visit and give it a couple of weeks.
Ten or fifteen minutes if you want us to walk you through everything. If you know exactly what you came for, you'll be back in your truck in under five.
Cash or debit. The card networks still won't touch cannabis anywhere in the country, and we don't keep an ATM in the store, so sort that out before you head over.
Say so when you walk up. We'll pull something gentle — usually a low-dose edible or a mild pre-roll — and tell you what it'll feel like, how long to wait, and what to do if it gets to be more than you wanted.
Bring them. Anyone 18 or older with a valid photo ID can come in with you. Only a licensed patient or their listed caregiver can actually buy, and a patient under 18 has to be with a parent, legal guardian, or listed caregiver.
TAC stands for Total Active Cannabinoids. It counts everything in the product — THC, THCA, CBD, CBG, CBN and the rest — instead of just THC. A high TAC usually means a fuller, rounder effect than the THC number by itself would tell you.
Tell us it's your first time and let us do the work. Usually that means a low-dose edible around 5 mg, a balanced 1:1 pre-roll, or a mild flower. If you want to judge for yourself, look at the lab test date, smell the jar, and read the potency label. Everything we stock is OMMA-tested.
Take a look at the live menu, or just come by Colcord or Roland and we'll take it from there.
