Trainwreck Strain
Sharp pine and lemon, and a head rush that arrives before you have put the jar down.
Trainwreck is a sativa strain from Mexican x Thai x Afghani, typically testing 18–23% THC and <1% CBD. It leans terpinolene and myrcene on the terpene side, smells like pine and lemon with a spicy, almost menthol sharpness, and most patients describe it as immediate rush, creative, talkative. It's a daytime strain that people reach for daytime, creative work, patients who want speed over weight — ask for it at RedBilly in Colcord or Roland, Oklahoma.

Trainwreck earned its name from how quickly it arrives. The onset is one of the fastest of anything we stock, which is exactly what some patients want and exactly what others should avoid.
The smell is pine and lemon with a sharp, almost menthol edge — closer to a cleaning-cabinet brightness than to any of the sweet cultivars around it in the case.
It descends from Mexican and Thai sativas crossed into Afghani, an old-school pedigree that shows in the airy bud structure and the long, wispy pistils.
Effects skew heavily mental. Patients report a rush of ideas and a lot of talking, with only a mild warmth in the body and no real sedation at any point.
That makes it a genuine working strain for people it suits. It also makes it the wrong pick for anybody who tends toward a racing head, and we say so at the counter.
Terpinolene and pinene together give it the sharp, resinous quality that separates it from the citrus haze strains it otherwise sits near on the shelf.

I ask one question before selling this: do you like things fast? If the answer is no, we look at something else.
Trainwreck questions we get
Is Trainwreck a sativa?
It is sativa-dominant, from Mexican and Thai sativas crossed with an Afghani indica, and it behaves like a sativa in effect.
Why is it called Trainwreck?
The name refers to how abruptly the effects arrive. The commonly told origin story about a train derailment near the original grow is not documented.
Is Trainwreck good for anxiety?
We do not recommend it to patients who describe a racing head, because the onset is fast and head-forward. This is patient preference, not medical advice.
What does Trainwreck taste like?
Pine and lemon with a spicy, menthol-like sharpness on the exhale.
