Indica is a shorthand, not a guarantee, but on our shelf it still tracks reasonably well with what patients expect: heavier body effects, quieter heads, and evenings rather than mornings. Here is the whole indica side of the case, ordered roughly by weight.

How to read the indica side of a case
Two variables do most of the work. Myrcene dominance predicts heaviness better than the indica label alone, and the tested percentage tells you how much of that weight arrives at once.
A myrcene-led jar in the mid-twenties is a very different evening from a caryophyllene-led jar in the high teens, even though both will be shelved as indica.
Purple does not mean stronger
Deep purple color comes from anthocyanin expression and cold nights late in flower, not from potency. Grape Ape and Granddaddy Purple look dramatic and test moderately.
If you are buying with your eyes, buy on trichome coverage and freshness rather than on color.
Where to start if indica is new to you
Northern Lights and Grape Ape are the two we hand new patients most often, both moderate and both predictable.
Work up from there rather than starting at Godfather OG. The top of this list is not a starting point and our staff will say so at the counter.

Is indica always sedating?
Not always. Terpene profile and dose change the outcome, and some indica-labelled hybrids stay surprisingly light.
Which indica is best for beginners?
Northern Lights and Grape Ape, both in a moderate THC range with a soft, predictable body effect.
Do both stores carry the same indicas?
