Clear-Headed Strains for Getting Things Done

Focus is a narrower ask than energy. Patients who want it are usually trying to avoid two things at once: the fog of a heavy indica and the scattered speed of a fast sativa. The middle of that range is where these jars live.

    What our staff hand over

    Pinene is the thread here

Jack Herer, Durban Poison and MAC 1 all carry noticeable pinene, and patients who describe wanting clarity keep landing on pinene-forward jars without knowing that is what they are doing.

It is a useful shortcut at the counter. When somebody says fog is the problem, we start with the terpene column rather than with the indica or sativa label.

Dose is the difference between focused and gone

The same jar can be clear at a small amount and useless at a large one. Patients chasing focus almost always do better with less, and with a vape or a single pre-roll rather than a full session.

If you are trying this during a working day, try it on a day where it not working is not a problem.

    What we cannot tell you

We are not going to make claims about attention or concentration as medical matters. What is on this page is what patients ask for and what our staff observe at the counter, and that is where it stops.

Anything clinical belongs with your provider. Anything about what is in the case today belongs with us.

    Pick it up in person

Availability rotates with what our growers finish, so the live menu is the accurate source for what is in each case today. Valid OMMA card and matching photo ID required at both stores.

    Common questions

Which strain is best for working?

MAC 1 is the most common counter recommendation because it stays clear at a high THC range. Jack Herer is the usual alternative for patients who want something less potent.

Do sativas always help with focus?

No. Fast-onset sativas can scatter attention rather than sharpen it. Balanced hybrids with pinene tend to land better for this ask.

Is a vape or flower better for daytime focus?

Vapes are easier to control by the puff and leave no smell, which is why the daytime crowd tends to prefer them. The cultivar still shapes the effect.

Can I try before I buy an eighth?

Buy a single pre-roll first. It answers the question at a fraction of the price.
