Jack Herer Strain
Peppery pine and clean focus — the working person's sativa.
Jack Herer is a sativa strain from Haze x (Northern Lights #5 x Shiva Skunk), typically testing 18–23% THC and <1% CBD. It leans terpinolene and pinene on the terpene side, smells like pine and black pepper over faint citrus, and most patients describe it as focused, alert, talkative. It's a daytime strain that people reach for morning use, task focus, patients avoiding sedation — ask for it at RedBilly in Colcord or Roland, Oklahoma.

Jack Herer is named for the activist who spent decades arguing for legalization, and the strain has held its reputation for almost as long as the argument ran.
The nose is pine and black pepper with a thin citrus line underneath. It is a clean smell, not a sweet one, and it carries through into the taste more faithfully than most.
Patients pick it when sedation is the thing they are trying to avoid. The effect is alert and forward, and it stays in the head rather than settling into the limbs.
The genetics are a Haze crossed onto a Northern Lights #5 and Shiva Skunk pairing. The Haze contributes the length and the head lift; the indica side keeps it from running away from you.
It is one of the more consistent sativas on our shelf in terms of how it behaves, which matters if you are using it on a schedule rather than recreationally.
Because it is genuinely stimulating, patients who are sensitive to caffeine often report the same sensitivity here. Start small if that describes you.
We usually have Jack or a Jack cross at one of the two stores. The live menu tells you which, and reserving means it is behind the counter when you arrive.

Jack Herer questions we get
Is Jack Herer a pure sativa?
It is classified as a sativa but is not a landrace. The lineage includes Northern Lights #5 and Shiva Skunk alongside the Haze parent.
Is Jack Herer good for focus?
Patients commonly reach for it when they want to stay alert. That is patient preference, not a medical claim, and the effect varies by person and dose.
What does Jack Herer taste like?
Pine and pepper with a faint lemon edge. It is one of the few strains where the flavor closely matches what the jar smells like.
Will Jack Herer make me anxious?
It can if you take too much or if strong sativas already do that to you. A small amount first, then reassessing after ten minutes, is the safer approach.
Strains rotate with what our growers bring in. Check today's live menu to see if Jack Herer — or something close to it — is on the shelf right now.
