Where to Start if This Is Your First Dispensary Trip

The most common first-visit mistake is buying the strongest thing in the case because the number is impressive. The second is buying an eighth of something you have never tried. Both are avoidable, and neither is what our counter will steer you toward.

    What our staff hand over

Buy small before you buy an eighth

A single pre-roll is the cheapest honest way to find out whether a strain suits you. It costs a fraction of an eighth and it answers the only question that matters, which is how your body responds to that particular cultivar.

Patients who buy small on the first visit almost always come back with a better second order. Patients who buy big on the first visit often end up with a jar they never finish.

The number on the label is not the whole story

Two jars testing the same can feel completely different depending on their terpene profile and on how you consume them. Chasing the highest percentage in the case is the least reliable way to shop.

Ask what was packaged most recently. We would rather sell you fresh flower under a name you have not heard of than a familiar name that has been sitting.

Edibles: start at 5 mg and actually wait

Almost every difficult first experience we hear about is an edible timing mistake. Five milligrams, two hours, no redosing because nothing happened in forty-five minutes.

Potency is printed on every package and everything on our menu is lab-tested. If a number does not make sense to you, ask the person at the counter — that is the entire reason they are standing there.

    Pick it up in person

Availability rotates with what our growers finish, so the live menu is the accurate source for what is in each case today. Valid OMMA card and matching photo ID required at both stores.

    Common questions

What should I bring to my first visit?

Your valid OMMA patient card and a matching government-issued photo ID. Both stores check both, every time, with no exceptions.

What is a good first THC range?

Most of our staff point new patients toward flower in the mid-to-high teens rather than the mid-twenties, and toward a pre-roll rather than an eighth.

Is indica or sativa better for a first try?

Neither category is inherently easier. A balanced hybrid like Blue Dream or Cherry Pie is the most common first recommendation we give.

Can budtenders tell me what to use for a medical condition?

No. We can tell you what is in the case, what it tested at, and what other patients reach for. Anything about a condition belongs with your provider.
