Sunset Sherbert Strain

Sunset Sherbert matters more than its shelf presence suggests, because it is one half of Gelato and therefore an ancestor of a very large slice of the modern dessert catalog.

On its own it is softer than its descendants. The high is warm and mood-first, with a body relaxation that arrives gently instead of dropping on you.

The smell is where it earns the name: berry sherbet, orange peel, and a floral note at the back that lingers on your fingers after handling it.

It comes from Girl Scout Cookies crossed with Pink Panties, and the Cookies influence is clearest in the density of the buds and the purple that often shows in the leaves.

Patients who find Gelato slightly too much often prefer this. Same family of flavors, less weight behind it.

It sits comfortably in late afternoon. There is enough lift to stay social and enough calm that the edges come off, without the abrupt end-of-day feeling of the heavier indicas.

Both our stores carry it when growers have it finished. Check the live menu before making the drive out to Colcord or Roland.
