How to Get an OMMA Card if You Live Near Colcord
Every purchase in Oklahoma runs on an OMMA license. Here's how Delaware County residents get one, and what patients coming west from Siloam Springs and Northwest Arkansas need before they can buy.
If you live in Oklahoma
You'll need Oklahoma residency, a valid state ID or driver's license, and a recommendation from an Oklahoma-licensed physician. Clinics around Grove, Jay and Siloam Springs' Oklahoma side handle these routinely.
Apply through the OMMA online portal with the recommendation, proof of residency, a photo and your ID. Fees are set by OMMA, with reduced rates for Medicaid, Medicare and 100% disabled veterans. Most approvals come back within a couple of weeks and the license runs two years unless the physician sets a shorter term.
Under 18? Two physician recommendations are required, plus a parent or legal guardian as caregiver.
If you live in Arkansas
An Arkansas card by itself is not enough at our register. Oklahoma requires an OMMA temporary patient license on top of your home-state medical card. Apply through OMMA before you make the drive, then bring both cards and a matching photo ID.
Once you're licensed we're about fifteen minutes from Siloam Springs on US-412, and under an hour from Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers and Bentonville.
What to bring the first time
Your OMMA card, a matching government photo ID, and cash or a debit card. We verify at the counter or the drive-thru window in a few seconds.
Not sure whether your paperwork is right? Call the Colcord store before you drive out. We'd rather answer the question than have you waste the trip.
